Smile Foundation in conjunction with Nippon Gohsei UK Limited a subsidiary of the NIPPON Synthetic Chemical Company based at Saltend near Hull has awarded a £500 grant to the charity to support future activities for people living with dementia in the East Riding area.
Trustee Simon Foster said: “This is a most welcome award and we are pleased and grateful our application was successful. The funds will go directly towards several of the projects we organise and also to develop a new activity involving music and art. The charity is going from strength to strength as we recruit new trustees and volunteers. We are keen to work in partnership with other organisations with our aim to raise dementia awareness and to support people living with dementia, their families and carer`s”.
